PMD-620MKII Modifications

Performance Enhancements Available :

The PMD 620MKII Basic rebuilds the PMD 620MKII mic preamp with a very low noise, high slew rate op amp that dramatically enhances detail and clarity while lowering noise and audible distortions. This upgrade also increases the mic input gain by 6dB in order to record lower signal levels without using the ALC circuit. All features remain intact.

The PMD 620MKII Concert rebuilds the PMD 620MKII mic preamp with a low noise, very low distortion and high slew rate op amp that dramatically enhances detail and clarity while lowering noise and audible distortions. This upgrade also improves the line input circuit. The built in mics are removed to maximize microphone input quality, all other features remain intact. Concert MOD parts are selected by ear to optimize the PMD 620MKII for recording music.

The built in mics and plug n power are removed to maximize microphone input quality, all other features remain intact. Super MOD parts are selected by ear to optimize low level detail.

Our upgrades void the factory warranty but we offer a 180 day parts and labor limited warranty on the machines we sell modified. Please note, we reserve the right to refuse to service any machine that has had our warranty seal removed or tampered with.
