Sony PCM-M10 Warm MOD

The Sony PCM-M10 Warm MOD bypasses the input selector IC and replaces the preamp chip which limits dynamic range to 80dB. The preamp is upgraded using state of the art FET op amps with a dynamic range of 126dB. The sound quality is also improved, the upgrade removes a hazy quality allowing the signal to sound more present and opens up the soundstage. The PCM-M10 Warm MOD uses a low noise, ultralow distortion, high slew rate FET op amp for the preamp with a very high slew rate & ultralow distortion JFET op amp to drive the A/D chip.This upgrade removes the built in microphones and improves the line input.
